WebAug 11, 2024 · For those who are born between 1970 and 1979, insured under the ElderShield 400 scheme and not severely disabled, you would have also been automatically covered under CareShield Life from December 2024. You have until 31 December 2024 to opt out if you wish to. WebThose who join CareShield Life at age 59 or older will pay premiums over 10 years. This helps to lower their annual premium payable so that it is more affordable and manageable. From 2024 to 2025, premiums* and payouts will both increase by 2% per year.
