It's also a good idea to manually limit your in-game framerates since your graphics card is fast enough to generate wildly high fps. WebbCopying the Smooth Patch to the Game/Bin folder and using that shortcut for the launcher may also help. If that doesn't work, take out The Sims 3 folder from Documents/Electronic Arts and put it somewhere else then stsrt the launcher and see if you're still having the issue. Good luck! WebbWell, it seems EA has fixed whatever issue was happening because I turned my computer on today and noticed the EA app had changed its icon on my desktop, I assume the launcher had an update. When I clicked play it launched the Sims 3 launcher like it used to do. So it seems they solved it. WebbThere are 2 possible issues: 1) since you couldn't play the game yet, Sims 3 hasn't created it or 2) it's located somewhere else like in OneDrive folder. Try searching in other folders as I also couldn't play it but I had the folder in my docs. The next thing that was the issue for me is compatibility.
